ONE MAN SHOW at Washington and
Lee University
Sept. 2nd through Dec. 31st. (Huntley Hall Daily 8am - midnight)
This show ,
entitled “North and South” features Eric’s traditional
plein air work done on the coast of Maine during the last three
Summers, as well as his Pop Art Southern Culture Series (a very
humorous look at Southern eccentricities. The show kicked off Sept.
2nd with a viewing of the film “ Eric Fitzpatrick-- Versatility
in Motion” (produced by Washington and Lee University) followed
by a question and answer session with the artist in Huntley’s
Lecture Hall.

This show will be a fund raiser
for Roanoke’s Fiddlefest (A Festival of Bluegrass Music in
it's third year and growing–great fun!.) This show will feature
38 of Eric’s newest works as well as some old favorites. Also
a wine tasting and silent auction will add to the festivities.......

work from the Outer Banks as well as many local subjects captured

Eric will again be part of the tour that has been such a huge hit
the last several years. Many outstanding local artists will be featured
in various locations around Roanoke during the two day showing.
This is a great chance to see the studios where art is produced,
pick up some paintings at great prices, and talk to your favorite
artists about their work. Eric will have new Italian work for this
show!!! Fitzpatrick lived and painted for 5 Summers in Tuscany and

candlelight dinner in Eric's Italian garden held as a fund raiser
for the Art Museum of Western Virginia.(Italian Wines, fabulous
cuisine and artwork celebrating the beauty of Tuscany.... Get your

THE SIDEWALK ART SHOW June 5th and 6th (10-5
Sat. and 12-5 Sunday)City Market -Downtown Roanoke
A great art show with
over 175 artists from all over the Eastern Seaboard. Eric has won
second place (with his left hand) and third place(with his right
hand ) in this show. He usually has a wide selection of oils, watercolors
and pastels at great prices for this one. And Eric has been known
to sell out often in this show, so if you see one you’d like
to have, let him know in a hurry!!
About the Fitzpatrick Studio
and Gallery
In addition to the Landscape Gallery in the basement (which houses
over 50 framed artworks at all times) this year will mark the opening
of the newly renovated Fitzpatrick Upstairs Gallery. In these upper
galleries are rooms full of Musicians, Seascapes and some "whimsical
canvases" that you will have to see to believe! You can also
tour Eric's spacious studio on the ground level where he'll show
you the materials and sketches from which his paintings evolve,
as well as many new works in progress..( Parents are always encouraged
to bring their children who might be interested in art.) By the
way, The Galleries and Studio (as well as the Italian Studio Garden)
